Artdose Magazine is an independent print and digital art magazine committed to being inclusive and advocating for the visual arts in Wisconsin.

In 2006, Frank Juarez visited one of  his best friends in Virginia. A common interest that they have are visiting art galleries and art museums. On a sunny afternoon, they found themselves in downtown Richmond. Frank stumbled upon an arts guide, which featured art galleries, artists, restaurants, boutiques, etc. During this time, Frank was co-owner of a contemporary art gallery, Barrow + Juarez, in the Third Ward in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What he loved about this particular guide was that as a visitor he had some guidance as to where to go to see art.

In 2013, he decided to launch his own art publication called Artdose Art Guide as a project through his gallery, Frank Juarez Gallery. This was his way of continuing to connect and support the visual arts in the North East and South East Wisconsin. This art guide began as a quarterly art publication featuring artists, exhibitions, art events, screenings, workshops, and so on happening at galleries, art groups, institutions, arts centers, art related-businesses, and artist studios.

We believe we all share common goals  of introducing, engaging, connecting, and offering diverse art experiences through our arts programming and art services.

Today, it has blossomed into a bi-annual magazine and has changed its name to Artdose Magazine. In addition has designed several programs and platforms such as The Social Club Gatherings, Artdose Talks, Seek & Discover, and FRANK & COMPANY art e-newsletter.
